PURPOSE: To improve working efficiency and reduce cost of an embroidery product by calculating the revolution coordinates after the revolution of the coordinates of the embroidery data stored for the revolution center which is determined from the coordinates of the memorized embroidery data, by a prescribed angle, and forming a seam at the revolution coordinate point.

CONSTITUTION: When a vertical revolution switch is pressed, the revolution center coordinates are obtained from the coordinates of all the needle drop points by a vertical revolution program stored in a ROM 53. Then, the coordinates of the needle drop point are converted to the coordinates of the revolution senter, and then converted to the value of the point in the revolution by 180° of the data of the coordinate system of the revolution center, and then returned to the coordinates of the original data. Then, the coordinates of the needle drop point memorized in a RAM 55 is converted to the coordinates after the revolution by 180°, and the similar processing is carried out repetitively at all the needle drop points, and all the needle drop points can be obtained. A vertical revolution lamp on a keyboard is put ON, and the embroidery with the enmbroidery data in the revolution by 180° is informed. When a start key is pressed, the embroidery with the embroidery data in the revolution by 180° is started.
