PURPOSE: To obtain a cloth having depth and solid feeling in pattern designs by effectively combining plural weave designs while using plural colors in weft and warp yarns and forming sunny and shady parts in the manner of expressing a tie pattern.

CONSTITUTION: A cloth is obtained by constructing plain weave parts having pattern parts in which warp yarns of one or two or more colors are used and weft yarns of two colors are woven in a manual shed 1 for picking plural weft yarns according to a tie pattern and pattern parts in which weft yarns are woven in a manual shed 2 for picking plural weft yarns by changing the order from that in the aforementioned manual shed 1 for picking plural weft yarns and parts other than the above-mentioned plain weave parts according to a twill or satin weave design or combination of both. The above-mentioned cloth has sunny parts clearly showing patterns of the tie cloth and shady parts dimly appearing.
