Abstract:
To provide a shaft for a golf club with the oscillation-damping function when hitting and the function for stabilizing the hit ball.
The shaft includes an inner bias layer 12 whose fibrous direction is tilted in a shaft axis direction and an outer bias layer 14 whose fibrous direction is tilted in an opposite direction to the inner bias layer 12 with respect to the shaft axis direction, which are laminated as a fiber-reinforced resin layer. A damping material sheet layer 22 whose longitudinal length is 110-150 mm is arranged between the inner bias layer 12 and the outer bias layer 14 when a proximity of the front edge of an attachment position for a grip 18 serves as a longitudinal rear edge 20.
