Title:
SHAFT MADE OF FIBER REINFORCED RESIN FOR TRANSMITTING DRIVING FORCE AND PRODUCTION THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0494921
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent slip even in great torque and to eliminate complexity in forming by specifying both the ratio of the inside diameter of the cylindrical joining parts in both ends of a shaft made of fiber reinforced resin to the outside diameter of the joining parts in joint elements to be force-fitted thereinto and the surface roughness of the outer face of the joining parts in the joint elements, and coating the shaft with an adhesive and force-fitting the joint elements.

CONSTITUTION: A joint element 2 has a cylindrical joining part 5. The mean surface roughness of the outer face in this joining part is preferably regulated to 2.0-1000μm. In the case of the same smaller then 2.0μm, biting effect and bonding effect are made difficult to be shown. In the case exceeding 1000μm, the wall thickness of the joint element is thinned and strength in the joining part is weakened. The ratio of the inside diameter of the joining part in the joint element of a shaft before force-fitting to the outside diameter of the joining part in the joint element is preferably regulated to 1.0-0.98. In the case of at least 1.0, sufficient clamping force does not act on the joining part of the shaft. In the case of 0.98 or below, force-fitting treatment is difficult. An adhesive used is liquid and, after force-fitting, hardening is performed in accordance with necessity.
