To provide an economical shaft operating apparatus comprising a manually operating mechanism initially used and an electrically operating mechanism additionally and detachably mounted to the manually operating mechanism later.
The shaft operating apparatus comprises: the manually operating mechanism H manually rotating a main shaft 11 of the electrical equipment; the electrically operating mechanism M rotating an output shaft 12 by a motor 22 via a reduction gear 23; a mounting and detaching means T by which the electrically operating mechanism M is detachably mounted to the manually operating mechanism H, and the output shaft 12 and the main shaft 11 of the manually operating mechanism H are arranged in a line; a moving means I moving the output shaft 12 between a position at which the output shaft 12 is engaged with the main shaft 11 and a position at which the output shaft 12 is separated from the main shaft 11; and an engaging means K comprising a recess 33 formed in the main shaft 11 or the output shaft 12, and a protrusion 35 formed in another, inserted in and engaged with the recess 33, and transmitting rotation of the output shaft 12 to the main shaft 11.
