Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve performance of a single-shaft compound power generation plant by reducing an axial clearance of each of a gas turbine and a steam turbine, and minimizing variation of the clearance.
CONSTITUTION: A bearing box 8 housing a thrust bearing 7 of a gas turbine is extended to a bearing box of an adjacent steam turbine, while both are integrated with each other. Axial movement of both is suppressed. The gas turbine and the steam turbine are fixed in an axial direction for improving performance and reliability.
