To provide a shaft support member capable of surely and simply installing by correcting position discrepancy at installing on a fixture side frame such as a body of a driving device even when there is any position discrepancy of installing holes of a lower side wall and a reinforcing plate of a guide body assembled and produced as a sliding guide for a transmission medium.

This shaft support member 10 of the sliding guide G for the transmission medium is provided with a tapered cone shaped guide insertion part 12 to be inserted while correcting the position discrepancy X generated in the installation holes G6 and G7 formed on the lower side wall G2 and the reinforcing plate G5 of the sliding guide G for the transmission medium at installing on the fixture side frame F, and a column shaped guide supporting part 13 continuously formed with the cone shaped guide insertion part 12 and supported by engaged with inner peripheral surfaces of the insertion holes G6 and G7 in a same surface state after installation. Thus, the position discrepancy of the insertion holes G6 and G7 is corrected and the shaft support member is surely and simply installed.
