Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the capacity utilization rate of a shaft type thermal decomposition furnace by reducing the adherence of a solid material to an exhaust duct.SOLUTION: The shaft type decomposition furnace 100 includes a raw material introduction opening 102 for introducing a raw material containing lightweight scattering materials F and a furnace body 101 having a gas discharge opening 104 for discharging the formed gas produced by the thermal decomposition of the raw material provided in its upper part, and a partition member 107 vertically descending from the top of the furnace body 101 toward its bottom to divide part of the in-furnace space into a first in-furnace space 108 for dropping the raw material from the raw material introduction opening 102 and a second in-furnace space 109 for raising the formed gas up to the gas discharge opening 104.
