Abstract:
To provide a shaftless rotary printing press and a control method of the shaftless rotary printing press capable of quickly resuming printing when the whole rotary press has stopped due to malfunction of some of electric motors.SOLUTION: A shaftless rotary printing press comprises a selection screen which allows selection of driving units to be synchronized. The driving units are each configured so that it can output a failure signal to a trunk control unit when a malfunction has occurred. The selection screen is configured so as to allow an operation for excluding a driving unit that has output a failure signal from synchronization. The trunk control unit is configured so as to output a synchronization signal to the respective driving parts unit which are to be synchronized when the driving unit that output the failure signal is excluded from synchronization.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
