PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a shake of a video image to be corrected such that image movement at the start and end of camera work changes smoothly without rapid change.SOLUTION: A device includes an image movement amount calculation unit that calculates an image movement amount of a second frame image that follows a first frame image for the preceding first frame image, an image movement amount holding unit that holds the image movement amount obtained after the first frame image has been corrected for a third frame image input prior to the first frame image, an image movement change unit calculation unit that calculates a difference between the image movement amount obtained after the first frame image has been corrected and the image movement amount of the second frame image as a change amount of the image movement amount, a correction amount calculation unit that calculates the first correction amount by multiplying the change amount of the image movement amount by specific gain, and a correction unit that cuts out a predetermined view angle from a specific cutting position of the second frame image, and the correction unit determines the specific cutting position on the basis of the first correction amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
