To smoothly move a movable body, to secure the shake correction effect, and also, to suppress the occurrence of vibration and noise at an initialization operation.
The movable body 22 is movably supported between a base body 21 and a sensor holding frame 37. The movable body 22 supports the shake correction lens 25. A driving means 30 two-dimensionally moves the movable body 22 on a plane vertical to an optical axis so as to correct the camera shake. A movable body control part 84 protrusively arranged on the movable body 22 is arranged in a movable body control frame 61 provided on the base body 21 so as to control the moving extent of the movable body 22. A ball 24 is arranged in a ball control frame 58 provided on the base body 21, and the ball 24 is brought into contact with the base body 21 and the movable body 22 so as to smoothly move the movable body 22. During the initialization operation of moving the ball 24 to the center part of the ball control frame 58, by circularly moving the movable body 22, a collision of the movable body control frame 61 with the movable body control part 84 is suppressed, and the occurrence of the vibration and the noise is suppressed.
