To provide a shake-off-type rod having a passage inside where special reinforcing structure is not required in providing a line introducing hole as against the rod by selecting a part being sufficiently strong in the rod at the time of forming the line introducing hole for introducing the line from a reel into a line putting passage inside the rod.

The front uniting part of the tip of a base rod 3 is internally engaged and press-joined with the rear uniting part of the rear end of a base upper part 4 so as to set the base upper part 4 in a pull-out state. The line introducing hole 3A for introducing the fishing line 8 from the reel is formed in the front uniting part and the line introducing hole 4A for introducing the line 8 from the line introducing hole 3A to the internal line putting passage of the base upper part 4 is formed in the rear uniting part of the base upper part 4. A system is constituted by superimposing the both line introducing holes 4A and 3A in the pull-out state.
