Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shallow sea bottom observation system capable of quantitative analysis spreading over entire optical properties in water bottom state in a wide range by water bottom information of the shallow water area.SOLUTION: A shallow sea bottom observation system includes: a movement support floating body 2 for loading an observation equipment; a pair of video cameras 3, 3 loaded on the movement support floating body 2; a laser range finder device 8 attached to a bottom surface of the movement support floating body 2 for scanning the sea bottom surface by a laser beam; a GPS/gyro device 4 for detecting attitudes of the video cameras 3, 3 for specifying recording positions; a recording unit 5 for simultaneously recording a recording image recorded by the video cameras 3, 3 and recording conditions detected by the GPS/gyro device 4; and an image processing unit 6 for processing a recorded image of the storage unit 5. The image processing unit 6 is composed to be capable of creating DSM data added with a geographic coordinate by image processing based on respective recording conditions regarding an overlapping range of a plurality of recorded images recorded by video cameras 3, 3 and an orthographic projection photomap.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
