Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition, nonirritant to skin and capable of dyeing hair simultaneously with shampooing by including an extract from a plant of cacti, an extract from a walnut leaf or the like and a surfactant. SOLUTION: This shampoo composition is obtained by including 10-40 wt.% extract from a plant of cacti [preferably Marginatocereus marginatus (D.C.) Beckeb, Stenocereus Dumortieri (Scheidwieler) Buxbaum or the like], 10-40 wt.% extract from a walnut leaf and/or a pericarp and at least one surfactant (preferably an aliphatic alcohol sulfate and a derivative thereof, an alkylbenzenesulfonate, a quaternary ammonium compound and a derivative thereof or the like). Since a nutrient is sometimes made to fall off by the composition at the time of shampooing, e.g. vitamin A, D, E or F which is a fat-soluble vitamin may be formulated as the nutrient.
