Abstract:
To provide a shaped body having an excellent humidity-conditioning function and lightweightness, a practical strength, and an excellent workability by using calcium hydroxide as a raw material in the same way as used for plaster.
The shaped body having a bulk specific gravity of ≤1.25 and a bending strength of ≥2 N/mm2 is obtained by mixing a composition comprising an inorganic particle (A) of 100 pts.wt., a hydrophilic polymer compound (B) of 5-50 pts.wt., a fibrous reinforcing material (C) of 2-50 pts.wt., and water (D) of 50-150 pts.wt., wherein 10-100 wt.% of the inorganic particle (A) is calcium hydroxide (A1), shaping, and drying.
