In a former stage of pressing cloths put on lower irons 2, 3 and 3 with an upper iron 4 to press them, cloths X and Y are heated with steam to loosen the adhesive core cloths in the cloths, and the cloths X and Y in the shrunk state are pulled by extending means 23, stretched, and restored to the original dimensions, and then press-finished with the upper iron 4.
