Abstract:
PURPOSE:To share a storage device which does not depends upon a wait signal even when access requests conflict by transferring data between a temporary storage means and a storage means on time-division basis through a switching means for data according to a clock when an access request is detected. CONSTITUTION:A clock signal with a period determined by N microprocessors is generated by a reference clock generating means 1 and when an access request detected by an access request detecting means 2 is a write request, write data is stored in the temporary storage means 5 and a time-division transfer control means 6 operate the data switching means 5 when a transfer cycle comes to write the stored write data in the storage means 3 in the one cycle. When the access request is a read request, the control means 6 operates the data switching means 4 as well to read data out of the storage means 3 in one cycle of the clock and store it in the temporary storage means 5. Consequently, the microprocessor which makes the access request is allowed to read the data.
