PURPOSE: To perform the work of sharpening a circular saw with a grinder, by forwarding a circular saw, fixed by a screw to a setting mount, edge by edge with a figured orbit of its edge shape at every rotation of a cam.

CONSTITUTION: In such a state that with the lowest part of a cam 1 a free end 10 of a transmission lever rod 8 is brought into contact while a grinder 14 is adapted to the edge point of a circular saw 3 on a setting mount 4, the grinder 14 is set and the center shaft of the circular saw 3 is fixed by a screw 13. When the grinder 14 is started to gradually move a handle 15 of the snail-shaped cam 1, the circular saw 3 is forwarded edge by edge at every revolution of the cam 1 by drawing a path of its edge shape simultaneously while the work of sharpening the edge is performed by the grinder 14. Further the same opertion is repeated to complete the work of edge sharpening in all parts. In this way, the work of saw tooth setting can be correctly and promptly perfomed even by any layman.
