Abstract:

To provide a shaving apparatus having a cartridge which is swingable against its handle and replaceable.

The shaving apparatus has a handle 12 and a replaceable cartridge 14 which includes a housing 16 having blades, a guard, a cap and a cam surface. The cartridge 14 is provided with a mutual jointing member 24 which includes a swing-supporting structure having the housing 16 and a base structure attached on the handle 12 detachably. The handle 12 is provided with a long grip structure to be gripped by hands and a cartridge-supporting structure extended from the end of the grip structure. The cartridge-supporting structure has an extension 26. By inserting this extension 26 into an opening of the cartridge 14, the outer side-surface of the extension 26 of the handle 12 and the inside of a channel on the edge of the opening of the cartridge 14 are engaged with each other.
