To provide a sheathing material for a lithium ion battery, having heat resistance, and heat seal strength which is not lowered even if it is preserved in a high temperature condition, and causing no peeling between aluminum foil and a sealant layer even when packaging a content containing strongly permeable substance.
In a laminate formed by laminating an aluminum foil, an anchor coat layer, an adhesive resin layer, and a sealant layer one by one on one side of a substrate layer, the substrate layer formed of an extended nylon film, boehmite treatment is applied to at least the anchor coat layer side of the aluminum foil, the anchor coat layer is formed of an isocyanate compound, the adhesive resin layer is formed of a homo-type or random copolymer type polypropylene resin, and the sealant layer is formed of a single layered or multiple layered non-stretched polypropylene film both sides of which are formed of a homo-type or random copolymer type polypropylene resin, and is laminated on the anchor coat layer through the adhesive resin layer by a sandwich lamination method.
