PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend life of a member and to improve quality of a sheet bar by respectively arranging heat-sensitive insulation bodies on faces facing with a sheet bar in an upper comb-tooth shaped part and a lower comb tooth shaped part formed into a buckling prevention plate and to eliminate spark generation in energizing eddy current.
SOLUTION: A clearance between a tip part of a succeeding sheet bar S2 and a tail part of a preceding sheet bar S1 reaches a prescribed clearance, a tip part of the succeeding sheet bar S2 and a tail part of the preceding sheet bar S1 are clamped by upper/lower heat-resistive insulation bodies 51, 52. At this state, high frequency current is impressed to an upper induction coil 42 and a lower induction coil 43, magnetic flux is generated between C type iron cores 40, 41, eddy current is induced between a tip part of the succeeding sheet bar S2 and a tail part of the preceding sheet bar S1 to heat up to joinable temp. Further, by pressing a tip part of the succeeding sheet bar S2 with a tail part of the preceding sheet bar S1, both are joined.
