Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet binding device in which a sufficient adhesive force can be obtained even if the direction of tearing off the sheet is in any direction, in the binding processing of a sheet bundle by melting a toner pattern for adhesion formed in the sheet and binding the sheets together.SOLUTION: A sheet binding device with adhesive toner image forming means formed in the binding margin part of each sheet of the sheet bundle PT and forming an adhesive toner image T melted by pressurization and heat treatment in order to bind a sheet bundle PT comprising two or more sheets P. An adhesive toner image T is formed so that a shape of the adhesive toner image T becomes the shape where a rotation angle of 30° or less to become a rotational symmetry exists when rotated mainly on the center of gravity in the shape of the adhesive toner image T.
