Abstract:
To detect misalignment of the sheet center position when cutting and aligning peripheral three sides of a back-bound sheet bundle.SOLUTION: The planned distance (W/2) from a holding position O1 of a sheet bundle Pb (the center position against the vertical direction of the sheet bundle Pb) to the end of the sheet bundle Pb is calculated. After the sheet bundle Pb is rotated, using the rotation angle θ made when the top Pbb of the sheet bundle Pb is detected by a photosensor 66a located on the rotation trace of the sheet bundle Pb, the distance ra between the rotation center of gripping rotation members 62a, 62b and the top Pbb. The difference between the planned distance (W/2) and the distance ra is a deviation δ used as the correction value of the sheet center position. The sheet bundle cutting device uses the deviation δ as correction of the cutting position between the top Pbbtp of the sheet bundle Pb and the bottom part Pbc and cuts the sheet bundle into an accurate bundle shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
