Abstract:
To provide a sheet bundle discharge device that discharges a sheet bundle outside the machine while reducing damages caused to the sheet bundle, and a bookbinding device.SOLUTION: A sheet bundle discharge device K includes: a conveyance belt 92 that transports a booklet P4 in a predetermined transport direction and discharges it; and a back support that changes a posture of the booklet P4 from a first posture where the booklet P4 is separate from the conveyance belt 92 to a second posture where the booklet P4 is loaded on the conveyance belt 92. The sheet bundle discharge device K is provided in an area where a fore edge P4c of the booklet P4 reaches after passing an area where the conveyance belt 92 is provided in the belt width direction of the conveyance belt 92 when the back support changes the booklet P4 from the first posture to the second posture, and is capable of receiving the fore edge P4c of the booklet P4 changed into the second posture, including a conveyer stay with a smaller coefficient friction against the booklet P4 than the coefficient friction between the booklet P4 and the conveyer belt 92.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 21
