PURPOSE: To provide a sheet bundling device in which various kinds of sheets, which are mixed with one another, are simultaneously received and each of them can bundled according to its kind.

CONSTITUTION: Sheets are vertically stacked, while they are being aligned, and there is a body of bundling machine which comprises a stacking element which can horizontally move stacked sheets, a holding element which receives stacked sheet transferred from the stacking element to hold them, and a bundling element which bundles stacked sheet held by the holding element. And in the body 13 of bundling machine, a plurality of stacking elements 20a, 20b are displaced vertically from each other under conditions that the moving side of the stacked sheets S1 are aligned in the moving direction of the sheets, and holding elements 31, 32 are disposed vertically movably on the moving side of the stacked sheets and further there is a sheet transfer element 12 to distribute the sheets to the elements 20a, 20b to transfer them.
