Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for preventing sheets in a paper discharge stacker from being damaged by detecting abnormality and a full load of the paper discharge stacker and stopping page discharge with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A distance sensor 23 is provided on a wall surface 21b between a sheet discharge port of a paper discharge stacker 21 and a sheet presser plate 20, distance information from the wall surface 21b to a sheet surface is acquired from the distance sensor 23 each time paper discharge is completed, and a full load is determined. Also, a variation in distance is confirmed when the preceding paper discharge is completed, and when the variation exceeds a threshold, the paper discharge is stopped because abnormality occurs in the paper discharge stacker 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
