Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveyance device capable of preventing a sheet from being pulled out and a load from being applied on a motor when applying pulling-out force on the sheet.
SOLUTION: This sheet conveyance device is provided with a conveyance means for conveying a sheet in predetermined direction of conveyance by a driving roller, a driving means for applying torque to a rotary shaft of the driving roller and being rotatably supported on the rotary shaft by reaction force of torque, and a sheet stop means arranged on the upstream side in the direction of conveyance more than the driving roller and abutting a first abutting body and a second abutting body on both faces of the sheet by energizing force of a first energizing means to suppress conveyance of the sheet. Reaction force received by the driving means is transmitted to the sheet stop means to convey the sheet by separating at least either of the first and second abutting bodies from the sheet.
