Abstract:
To provide a sheet conveying apparatus capable of accurately determining whether or not a sheet jumped out of a tray needs to be eliminated, when determining a size error of the sheet during conveyance.SOLUTION: When determining occurrence of a size error, whether or not a sheet jumped out of a tray to a conveyance path is detected (ON) by a paper feeding sensor is determined (S31). When being positively determined (S31:Yes), a sheet elimination message for eliminating a sheet thereof from the conveyance path is displayed on an operation panel (S32), and when determining that it is completed that the sheet is eliminated by a user (S34:Yes), the sheet elimination message is turned off (S35), resulting in returning. On the other hand, when being negatively determined (S31:No), no sheet elimination message is displayed as no presence of the sheet to be eliminated, resulting in returning.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
