Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet transport device which achieves high workability of a sheet placement work and enables improvement of the productivity in printing.SOLUTION: A sheet transport device includes: a support member 26 (sucker device holding means) which holds a sucker device 12 so that the sucker device 12 may move to a feed position and a retreat position; a driving mechanism 61 (sucker device moving means) which moves the sucker device 12 between the feed position and the retreat position; a placement work start switch (operation means) which is operated in prior to sheet placement work; and a control device 16 which controls operation of a support member driving motor 62 when the placement work start switch is operated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
