Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate a fixed blade and to miniaturize a sheet cutting device by providing a round blade and a rotation axis support member to support this round blade free to rotate on a sheet cutting unit main body.
CONSTITUTION: A sheet cutting unit main body 2 is furnished with a round blade 14 and a rotation axis support member to support the round blade 14 free to rotate. A sheet stops at a position to cut the sheet after it is carried to pass across a moving route of the sheet cutting unit main body 2. Thereafter, a screw type member fitted on the sheet cutting unit main body 2 is rotationally driven by a driving motor, and the sheet cutting unit main body 2 moves in the desired direction. Consequently, the sheet is taken in an inlet part 10 of a sheet intake region 9 and led to a sheet cutting position 7 of the round blade 14 by a sheet guide member 3. The sheet is cut off in accordance with movement of the sheet cutting unit main body 2, but as the sheet guide member 3 is provided in the neighbourhood of the round blade 14, the sheet is smoothly cut off without causing large deformation.
