Abstract:
To provide a sheet discharge device capable of accurately setting the number of folded sheets which are stacked on a discharge tray and regularly stacking the folded sheets with a simple configuration, and a sheet post-processing device equipped with the same.SOLUTION: A sheet post-processing device comprises a sheet conveyance path, a folding unit, a sheet discharge part having a discharge roller pair for discharging a folded sheet, a sheet discharge tray having a tray upper face and a rear wall, a full state detecting sensor for detecting a full state of folded sheets which are stacked on the tray upper face, and a first sheet-pressing member and a second sheet-pressing member for pressing a rear end side and a tip side, respectively, in the discharge direction of the folded sheets which are stacked on the tray upper face. The first sheet-pressing member comes in contact with any position in a range from the center portion in the discharge direction of the folded sheet of the minimum size which is stacked on the tray upper face to the rear wall, at a pressing position extending from above the discharge roller pair to below a lower limit of the detection region, and is retracted from the pressing position when the number of folded sheets stacked on the tray exceeds a predetermined number.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
