Abstract:

To determine the position of a matter to be printed uniformly in the thickness direction.

The sheet discharger comprises a sheet discharge roller 52 for moving the matter 11 to be printed in the sheet discharging direction, a driven roller 54 disposed oppositely to the sheet discharge roller 52 through the matter 11 to be printed and dragged to turn by the discharge roller 52, a sheet discharge frame 100 for holding the driven roller 54 rotatably, and a guide section 110 provided on the upstream side of the sheet discharge roller 52 in the sheet discharging direction with a part of the sheet discharge frame projecting to the side of the matter to be printed and regulating the position of the matter to be printed in the thickness direction. The guide section 110 has a protrusion 120 formed in the vicinity of the axial end side of the sheet discharge roller 52 while projecting farther to the side of the matter 11 to be printed than the end side.
