Abstract:
To provide a sheet discharging device capable of allowing ink to be hardly deposited on tips of very small projections even when a recording surface is not dry, and preventing a problem of stain caused by the transfer of ink from other parts to the recording surface of a sheet.
In a driving roller and a driven roller of the sheet discharging device for holding and discharging a sheet with an image formed thereon to the downstream side of the conveying direction, a large number of projections are collected or dispersed in a substantially uniform manner on circumferential surfaces of the driving roller and the driven roller.
