This sheet ejecting device includes ejecting roller pairs having a driving roller driven by a driving source and a driven roller for rotating by being driven in pressure contact with the driving roller and ejecting the sheet, and an opening-closing cover for supporting the driven roller via an elastic member, forming part of a carrying passage up to the ejecting roller pairs and openably-closably supported to the device body, and is characterized in that the carrying passage can be exposed outside the device body by opening the opening-closing cover, and in a state of forming the carrying passage by closing the opening-closing cover to the device body, the driven roller is brought into pressure contact with the driving roller by the elastic member, and the opening-closing cover is engaged with the device body.
