Abstract:
To provide an apparatus which can safely, economically and correctly transfer a printing area providing layer such as a metal working layer or the like on printing paper leaves.
In order to transfer the printing area providing layer from a transfer foil to a material to be printed, the applicable range of a foil supply portion within a coating module needs to be extended. For this purpose, a coating device for coating a layer or an information element or a working element on the transfer foil is correspondingly provided in an intaglio printing apparatus. An additional layer is transferred on the material to be printed together with the working layer of the transfer foil within the coating module.
