Abstract:
To solve the problem in which the movement in the thrust direction is restricted by the pickup roller when making the paper in the tray follow the side regulation guide with the skew feeding roller.SOLUTION: A sheet feeding device 230 of the invention includes: a tray 5 on which a sheet P is placed; a sheet feeding member 1 which is brought into contact with the upper surface of the sheet placed on the tray and feeds the sheet in the sheet feeding direction CD; a side regulation guide 11 provided parallel to the sheet feeding direction and regulating the side edge of the sheet; a skew feeding roller 14 having an outer peripheral surface in contact with the upper surface of a sheet, and arranged so that the tangential direction of the outer peripheral surface is inclined with respect to the sheet feeding direction; and a biasing member 18 that biases the sheet feeding member in a direction orthogonal to the sheet feeding direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
