PURPOSE: To provide a sheet feeding device favorable for the packing, carriage, and storage, and an image forming device provided therewith by storing a sheet carrying unit inside or in the vicinity of a sheet storage deck to eliminate a projected part in the sheet feeding device having the sheet carrying unit to carry the sheet from the sheet storage deck to the image forming device.
CONSTITUTION: An arm 15 fixed to an end part on each side of a sheet carrying unit 3 is turnably and pivotably supported by a shaft 10 provided on a deck 2, an arm 16 having a U-shaped groove 19 is turnably and pivotably supported by a shaft 17 provided at the prescribed position on each side of the sheet carrying unit 3, and a stopper 18 capable of being engaged with the U-shaped groove of the arm 16 at the prescribed position of the deck 2 and a stopper 20 capable of being abutted on and locked to the upper front face of the sheet carrying unit 3 are provided.
