Abstract:
To provide a sheet folding device capable of overlapping a plurality of sheets toward a folding processing part in an aligned state without enlarging and complicating the device when folding the plurality of sheets.SOLUTION: A sheet folding device has a space part 43 for storing a leading edge of a sheet conveyed by a conveyance means on an upstream side of a folding processing part 34 and a regulation member 37 for regulating a rear end of the sheet stored in the space part 43 on the upstream side where the sheet is switched back. The regulation member 37 moves to a contact position where the rear end of the sheet contacts, a holding position where the rear end of the sheet is held and a retraction position for guiding a plurality of stacked sheets with rear ends aligned by the contact position to the upstream side of the regulation member 37.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
