A powdered catalyst and an absorbent are supported by fibrillated polytetrafluoroethylene to form a combined sheet material 1. The sheet material 1 is formed in a specified width and length to produce multiple deodorization sheets 21a to 21e. A pair of take-up rolls 22L and a pair of sheet guides 23R, 23L are provided, and the ends of the deodorization sheets 21a to 21e are hung on the pair of take-up rolls 22L, and the deodorization sheets 21a to 21e are hung on the sheet guides 23R, 23L. When the take-up roll 22L moves in the reverse direction, the deodorization sheets 21a to 21e move in the right or left direction with an absorption part 26 expanded. One of the take-up rolls is provided inside a reproduction part 27. The deodorization sheets 21a to 21e or a fan, etc., are stored in a casing to form the air cleaner.
