Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material processing device that bonds a plurality of sheets by heating a bonding toner-image, the device being designed such that a binding process for bonding sheet materials uniformly can be performed by a single heating operation and sheet materials can be bonded together with strong bonding force, and to provide an image forming system provided with the same.SOLUTION: A paper post-processing device is a sheet material processing device that has a bonding device 1, as sheet-material bonding means, which heats a bonding toner-image T formed on paper P, or a sheet material, and which bonds a plurality of sheets of paper P. This device comprises a liquid supply device 217 that supplies liquid, such as water 216, to an area where a bonding toner-image T is formed on paper P, or liquid supply means such as silica gel. As heating means for heating a bonding toner-image, the device comprises dielectric heating means, such as a pressure moving member 11, pressure receiving base 12, or high-frequency power source 3, which generates a high-frequency AC electric field and dielectrically heats bonding toner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
