Abstract:
A sheet separation device (1) separates a non-bonding portion (B) of a two-ply sheet (PJ) in which two sheets (P1, P2) are overlapped and bonded together at one end (A) as a bonding portion (A) of the two-ply sheet (PJ). The sheet separation device (1) includes two branched conveyance paths (K4, K5) and a separator (16). The two branched conveyance paths (K4, K5) are branched in different directions. The separator (16) is configured to be inserted into a gap (C) formed between the two sheets (P1, P2) of the two-ply sheet (PJ), separate the two sheets (P1, P2), and guide the two sheets (P1, P2) to the two branched conveyance paths (K4, K5), respectively.
