Abstract:
To provide a sheet post-processing device that imparts a mark on a sheet being carried, which aligns a sheet imparted with the mark and the other sheet, and places the sheets on a discharge tray.SOLUTION: A sheet post-processing device B comprises: carrying mechanisms 24, 25 and 35 that carry a sheet 33 along a carrying passage 22; a sheet corner-folding mechanism 50 that corner-folds a corner part at a tip of the sheet being carried on the carrying passage toward one side of the sheet; a discharge tray 32 having a sheet placement surface 32a on which a sheet discharged from the carrying passage is placed; a carrying-out roller pair 25 that discharges the sheet from the carrying passage to the discharge tray; and a control part 200 that controls operation of the mechanisms, the tray and the pair. The control part, when the sheet corner-folded toward the sheet placement surface is discharged by the carrying-out roller pair to the discharge tray, controls a carrying roller driving motor 109 so that a speed of discharging the sheet is slower than a speed of discharging the other sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
