To provide a device excellent in operability of a jam release lever and small and compact even though a manual feed setting part is provided.SOLUTION: A sheet post-processing device is provided in an in-body space between a reading unit for reading a document image and an image forming unit for forming the image read by the reading unit on a sheet. The sheet post-processing device includes: conveying means for conveying the sheet; a processing tray 24 on which the sheet conveyed by the conveying means in a conveying direction is placed; binding processing means for applying binding processing to the sheets placed on the processing tray; a manual insertion unit provided in a different location from the processing tray for applying the binding processing to the sheets manually inserted from the outside of the device; a slide mechanism for pulling out the sheet post-processing device from the in-body space; a fixing unit for fixing the slide mechanism in the in-body space and fixing it at a conveying location from where to convey the sheet to the conveying means; and a release lever provided in a location overlapping with a range on which the sheets are placed in the manual insertion unit for releasing the fixing unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
