PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily return sheets to a bookbinding position and align the sheets.SOLUTION: A sheet post-processing device 1 includes: a transportation part 20 for transporting a sheet on which an image is formed; a bookbinding part 10 stacking the transported sheets on a compile tray 31 and bookbinding the sheets; and aligning means 30 supporting a trailing end of the sheet transported from the transportation part 20, leading the trailing end of the sheet on the compile tray 31, returning the sheet to a bookbinding position and align the sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
