Abstract:
To alleviate such a malfunction that sheets are excessively loaded on a purge part.SOLUTION: A multi-feeding detection sensor 61 (multi-feeding detection part) which can detect whether or not overlapping sheets PJ fed from sheet feeding parts 2, 11 are fed in an overlapping manner and the multi-feeding number is installed in a conveyance path. A sheet processing apparatus also includes count means (counter of a control part 90) which counts the number of overlapping sheets PJ loaded on a purge tray 55, and full detection means (calculation part of the control part 90) which determines that the overlapping sheets PJ loaded on the purge tray 55 are full when the number counted by the count means reaches a prescribed number A. When the multi-feeding of the overlapping sheets PJ is detected by the multi-feeding detection sensor 61, the overlapping sheets PJ are conveyed toward the purge tray 55 and the number counted by the count means is added according to the multi-feeding number.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
