Abstract:
To provide a small-sized sheet processing device which aligns sheets on loading means without obstructing the sheets inserted to a manual binding part.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device comprises: conveyance means which conveys sheets in a device housing; discharge means which conveys the sheets from stacking means that stacks the sheets to perform prescribed processing; loading means which is loaded with the sheets conveyed by the conveyance means or discharge means on the downstream side in the conveyance direction of the stacking means; an alignment part which aligns the width direction of the sheets on the downstream side of the stacking means and on the upper side of the loading means; an axial direction drive mechanism which moves alignment means in the sheet width direction; an alignment plate rotation mechanism which rotatably and pivotally supports the alignment means; a neat housing which stores the axial direction drive mechanism and the alignment plate rotation mechanism; and a manual insertion part which performs processing to the manually-inserted sheet at a position different from the stacking means. The neat housing is located on the downstream side of the stacking means, extends to the vicinity of the manual insertion part from the stacking means in the sheet width direction and is provided with a guide surface of the manually-inserted sheet at a position overlapped with the manual insertion part of the neat housing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
