Abstract:
To provide a sheet processing device and a control method thereof which have adhesive binding means for improving adhesive fastening force and appearance without generating separation pieces.SOLUTION: In a sheet processing device B having adhesive binding means 60, the adhesive binding means 60 has: holding means 501 for holding liquid 500 having adhesiveness; punching means 503 for forming a perforation part So on a sheet bundle S without forming a separation piece; injection means 502 for injecting adhesive liquid 500 held by the holding means 501 into the perforation part So; and pressurizing means 502 for pressurizing the perforation part So into which the adhesive liquid 500 is injected. In this case, it is possible to solve the problem of occurrence of the separation piece in the punching means 503. Further, in the pressurizing means, the problem concerning adhesive fastening force can be solved by increasing bonding area between the sheets S, and opening area of the perforation part So can be made extremely small, so that the problem of appearance can be solved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
