Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crease reinforcing device of small size and high productivity at a low cost, and to efficiently perform sheet transportation after completion of reinforcing a crease.SOLUTION: A plurality of pressing force transmission parts 412 contained in an additional folding roller 410 are arranged along main scanning direction. A pressing force for pressing a crease against a sheet support plate 420 is generated by being pressed against the sheet support plate 420 during rotation. The pressing force is generated at varying timings by being arranged at a predetermined angular difference in rotational direction thereof. A Mylar 500 that is disposed between the additional folding roller 410 and the sheet is provided with a plurality of slits 501 being parallel to the transportation direction of the sheet at a predetermined interval along main scanning direction, within a pressing range.
