Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote miniaturization and space saving of a device, and to perform additional folding at a folding part of a sheet with no occurrence of a wrinkle.SOLUTION: A sheet postprocess device is equipped with a plurality of pressing members 62 for pressing a folding part 39a of a sheet bundle 39 that is folded. The plurality of pressing members 62 are arrayed on the same shaft 60 of the sheet bundle 39 in the direction orthogonal to transportation direction. Additional folding is made by sequentially pressing the folding part 39a from one direction toward the other direction according to rotation of the shaft 60, and by escaping a deflection that occurs at the folding part from one direction toward the other direction.
