Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device and an image formation device, suppressing a running cost of an image formation device and raising adhesive force of a toner image for bonding well.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device such as a post processing device equipped with a binding means such as a heating and bonding part pressurizes and heats a toner image S for bonding that is formed at a binding margin part of sheet so that sheets are bonded together to bind a sheet bundle. A smoothing means 160 is provided which, before binding the sheet bundle by a binding means, smooths a toner image surface for bonding of a binding margin part Pt of the sheet after image formation process and/or a surface of the sheet that faces the toner image for bonding.
